Black Radiance, a cosmetics brand for women of color, needed an innovative way to attract and engage customers in a competitive market. They partnered with the vendor Saritasa to leverage augmented reality (AR) and mobile technology, aiming to create a unique digital experience that would make a big splash at a major event.

Saritasa designed and developed a hybrid mobile app featuring four customized 3D avatars that users could match with via a quiz. The solution included an AR experience to place an avatar into the real world for photos and videos, as well as a selfie mode. The app successfully debuted at the event, generating positive press and strengthening the brand's connection with its audience. Saritasa's work was praised by the client for exceeding expectations and for a collaborative partnership that felt like family.
