Course Hero, a Redwood City–based education company of about 130 employees, needed a more consistent, reliable onboarding system that integrated with ADP and their internal tools and provided automated notifications. Having previously used another onboarding vendor, Course Hero chose Sapling to replace their prior solution and centralize People Operations data and processes.

Sapling implemented its onboarding platform to connect Greenhouse to ADP, provision G Suite accounts, and integrate with OneLogin and JIRA, automating workflows and triggered communications. The Sapling implementation automated more than 30 tasks per hire, saved Course Hero thousands of hours of manual work, reduced errors from manual entry, and streamlined the handoff of new-hire data to payroll and IT.
