RAC Insurance Upgrades its PAS to Better Focus on Its Core Business

RAC Insurance, the market leader in Western Australia personal lines, faced slowing responsiveness to digitally savvy customers because it was running an older version of the Sapiens IDIT policy administration system and wanted to free up staff to focus on core business and faster project delivery. To modernize its platform and regain agility, RAC Insurance selected Sapiens as system integrator to deliver a full upgrade of the IDIT solution and associated services.

Sapiens implemented a complete IDIT upgrade with system set-up, analysis and design, development/configuration, internal testing and UAT support using an Agile, collaborative approach and early defect discovery. The project finished in 10 months (15% faster than planned), with 75% of incidents caught in the build phase and a 99% UAT pass rate; IDIT is now stable in production and Sapiens continues as the IDIT expert enabling RAC Insurance to launch new products and pursue a full digital transformation.
