A SAP Case Study
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) needed a better way to manage more than 50 years of tennis data spread across 27+ siloed databases. By modernizing its data strategy, WTA aimed to improve decision-making for players, coaches, fans, media, and tour operations, while also preparing to use AI and analytics to uncover future trends. SAP helped power this transformation through SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud.
SAP consolidated WTA’s data into one central hub and connected analytics, application development, and automation in a unified cloud environment. As a result, WTA can now analyze more than 5,000 matches per year, access real-time insights faster, and identify correlations more quickly to improve player performance, enhance the fan experience, and streamline operations.
