Wholesale Sports Outdoor Outfitters, a western Canadian retailer of outdoor sporting goods, faced the challenge of an out-of-date, open-source e-commerce platform that could not deliver the robust user experience needed to serve its customers. SAP delivered the solution after an aggressive eight-month implementation, which included migrating customer profiles and stockkeeping units and customizing the back-end for regulatory compliance. The results were outstanding, with the new platform driving a 40.3% increase in online sales, an 11.8% increase in conversion rates, and a 60% reduction in marketing spend for Wholesale Sports.
