HOERBIGER, an industrial machinery and components manufacturer, sought to gain complete visibility into its wellhead compression unit lease fleet operations. The company needed to automate data collection and invoicing, optimize spare parts logistics, and gain full insight into equipment condition to increase availability. To address these challenges, they partnered with vendor SAP.
SAP implemented a solution leveraging SAP Cloud Platform as an IoT hub to connect and process machine data, and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer for service and lifecycle management. This provided HOERBIGER with transparent contract visibility, automated service ticket and invoice generation, and increased unit availability. The result is a more effective and streamlined service operation for their global fleet.
