The company needed a way to centralize invoice visibility, reduce errors, and improve efficiency for its Accounts Payable and Finance teams, and turned to SAP Ariba Central Invoice Management with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition.
SAP implemented an automated invoice solution using OCR, AI/ML, and SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation to capture, validate, route, and process invoices across all channels. As a result, Western Sugar reduced invoice cost from $1.33 to $1.00 per invoice, saved 33 processing hours per month, and efficiently handled 2,000 invoices monthly, while also improving accuracy, compliance, and supplier satisfaction.
