Votorantim, the Brazilian conglomerate in cement, metals, energy, and finance, needed to migrate its complex SAP ECC landscape to SAP S/4HANA while managing large data volumes, minimizing downtime, and converting custom programs without disrupting operations. Working with SAP and Exed Consulting, the company aimed to modernize its ERP environment and support business continuity across a large, multi-sector organization.

SAP delivered the largest SAP S/4HANA migration in LATAM for Votorantim, using intelligent migration tools and a structured, phased approach. The project involved 150 consultants, more than 50,000 tested steps, and over 500 users in testing, resulting in 97% automated conversion of custom Z programs, 4–5x faster conversion processing, minimal downtime, and a go-live NPS of 9.7/10.
