A SAP Case Study
The University of Amsterdam, with 70,000 students and 10,000 staff, faced challenges with slow service performance that made accessing and evaluating student information difficult. To drive student success through better analytics and mobile communication, the institution turned to vendor SAP and its SAP HANA platform for a solution.
SAP implemented the SAP HANA platform, migrating the university’s SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Suite applications. This resulted in reports running four times faster and transaction processing becoming 83% faster. The solution provided the university with the speed needed for more efficient systems, faster grade evaluation, and a foundation for future mobile enhancements to improve student and faculty communication.
