A SAP Case Study
NEC, a global network technology company with 118,500 employees, needed a stronger foundation for its HR operations as 29 separate people systems, siloed processes, and inconsistent data were slowing succession planning, mobility, compliance, and access to workforce insights. Working with SAP, NEC used SAP SuccessFactors to support its global HR transformation and create a single, trusted source of people data.
SAP implemented SAP SuccessFactors across 44 countries for about 10,000 employees, standardizing global HR processes and enabling self-service, reporting, analytics, and a global job architecture. The results included unified HR platforms, real-time workforce visibility, 90% user adoption, and more than $1M in annual license fee savings, while also improving compliance, talent management, and employee experience.
