A SAP Case Study
Seegene, a South Korean molecular diagnostics pioneer, needed a unified way to manage data, processes, people, and financials as it grew globally. The company also wanted more efficient electronic approvals, invoicing, bank transactions, and reporting that could meet International Financial Reporting Standards. Seegene turned to SAP, using RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors to support its operations.
SAP implemented a single ERP environment across Seegene’s headquarters and subsidiaries, standardizing processes and master data while improving HR, accounting, and regulatory responsiveness. The results included a 75% reduction in monthly closing time, a 50% reduction in intercompany processing, and a cut in the closing schedule from 20 days to 5 days. Seegene said SAP transformed its business by enabling integrated global operations on one system.
