Henkel, a major consumer goods company, sought to strengthen customer loyalty and drive growth for its Adhesive Technologies business unit through a digital transformation of its sales process. The challenge involved gaining end-to-end insights into customer data and providing more effective, personalized customer care. To address this, they partnered with vendor SAP to implement solutions including SAP Hybris Commerce, SAP Hybris Sales Cloud, and SAP Retail Execution.
The solution from SAP, implemented with partner maihiro, provided a centralized source for customer data, a new user-friendly online shop, and mobile applications for its sales team. This enabled detailed customer analysis, better planning of sales visits, and the ability to check promotion effectiveness in-store. As a result, SAP helped Henkel increase revenue through targeted cross- and upselling and achieve a transparent 360-degree view of every customer.
