A SAP Case Study
SumUp, the global fintech serving more than four million small merchants, needed a stable, scalable way to manage resources, reporting, inventory visibility, and country-specific compliance as it grew rapidly. The company also wanted to replace manual, error-prone work and fragmented systems with a single source of truth. To do this, SumUp turned to SAP, using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP GRC solutions.
SAP implemented an integrated ERP and analytics environment that automated reporting, improved transparency, and unified data across entities. The results included 25% faster processing of documentation, 30x fewer data discrepancies, a 100% reduction in manual work to prepare accounts for flash management, and finance/reporting consolidation that became 6x faster. SAP also helped SumUp improve inventory management, inbound logistics, and tax compliance, reducing risk and enabling better decision-making.
