Convergent IS, a professional services firm that builds enterprise apps, faced a manual and error-prone challenge. Their accounts payable team had to manually export data from the Expensify system and reconcile it with their SAP S/4HANA software, a time-consuming process prone to duplicates and inaccuracies.

To solve this, Convergent IS used SAP Cloud Platform along with SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and SAP API Management to build a custom connector app called ConvergX for Expenses. The solution provided by SAP automated the entire data transfer, giving the team a single, user-friendly dashboard. This resulted in dramatically faster and more accurate invoice processing, the elimination of duplicate payments, and a significantly improved user experience for the accounts payable team.
