A SAP Case Study
The sporting goods manufacturer adidas sought to unify its e-commerce, wholesale, and retail business units with a simplified IT infrastructure. Their challenge was to better anticipate consumer demand and become a true omnichannel business to drive further growth. To meet these goals, they turned to vendor SAP for an industry-specific solution.
SAP implemented its Fashion Management application, powered by the SAP HANA platform, to serve as the backbone of adidas's global supply chain. This solution provided complete visibility from factory to store, enabling real-time point-of-sale data analysis for better forecasting and significantly faster replenishment. As a result, adidas gained crucial insights to improve the consumer experience, increase sales opportunities, and stay ahead of market demands.
