Sluyter Logistics, a logistics provider with 275 employees based in the Netherlands, faced a challenge with its existing ERP solution, which did not optimally handle Customer Relationship Management (CRM). To further professionalize and streamline its sales and marketing processes, the company sought a new solution and turned to vendor SAP and its product, SAP Cloud for Customer.
The solution, implemented with the help of SAP partner itelligence, provided a complete online CRM package. It enabled Sluyter's employees to access up-to-date customer information on any device, integrated with Microsoft Outlook, and streamlined opportunity management. The results included less time needed for internal consultation, real-time project management, and a consistent, organization-wide customer approach. SAP's solution also required no additional hardware investment and allowed the company to better identify customer needs and serve them more effectively.
