ITERGO Informationstechnologie GmbH, a leading IT service provider for the insurance sector, faced the challenge of managing its highly complex and growing SAP HANA environment. Their administrative processes for patches, updates, and system maintenance were demanding and required significant manual effort. To address this, they partnered with vendor SAP and implementation specialist beON to find a solution that would automate and simplify their IT administration.
The solution implemented was SAP Landscape Management, which automated lifecycle management across ITERGO's SAP HANA landscape. The results were significant: processes for patches and updates now run without operational interruptions, and full automation provides disaster recovery and failover to another data center. This has optimized transparency and stability while reducing manual effort, allowing a team of just five employees to oversee the entire SAP landscape for the ERGO Group. The implementation by SAP and beON was completed on schedule and within budget.
