Telekom Slovenije, Slovenia’s leading telecommunications provider, wanted to expand beyond telecom services with a modern online shopping experience for customers and non-customers alike. Using SAP Commerce Cloud, the company needed to replace rigid legacy systems, reduce manual work, provide real-time inventory across devices, and scale for growing traffic while improving cybersecurity and customer self-service.

SAP implemented SAP Commerce Cloud in a seven-month project, migrating the e-shop to the cloud and consolidating more than 70 suppliers into a fully automated retail platform. The result was a faster, more stable shopping experience with less operational overhead, fewer failed orders, and quicker deployments; it now serves 300,000 end users and supports 40,000+ orders per year, with many orders processed the same day and delivered within one to two business days.
