PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company, faced growing data volumes and performance risks in its North America operations as it prepared for continued expansion. Working with SAP and other technology partners, PepsiCo needed a more resilient platform to support its mission-critical SAP S/4HANA environment and future business growth.

SAP helped PepsiCo scale its core SAP S/4HANA infrastructure from 24TB to 32TB on Microsoft Azure, with co-innovation and certification tailored to PepsiCo’s needs. The result was a live production system supporting 10,000+ users and about 150K sales orders per day, improving performance, stability, resiliency, and user experience; the project was delivered in less than six months and positioned PepsiCo to support North America through end of 2026.
