Salling Group, one of Denmark’s largest retail groups, faced the challenge of recruiting and onboarding new employees quickly amid high turnover and heavy administrative work for store managers. The company turned to SAP, using SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting along with SAP Cloud Platform, to modernize its mobile recruitment and talent processes and improve the candidate and manager experience.

SAP helped Salling Group launch FastHire, a mobile app that lets managers post jobs in under a minute, search a central talent pool, and automate contracts and onboarding. The results included a 90% reduction in store managers’ administrative time, job postings that take 15 seconds instead of 3 days, and mobile applications completed in under 2 minutes, helping Salling Group strengthen its employer brand and gain an edge in the talent market.
