Bosch faced the challenge of carving out Robert Bosch Aftermarket Solutions GmbH as part of a divestiture and setting up the new company, Gotion Germany Battery GmbH, with its own central ERP system. To do this, Bosch needed a partner with strong business and IT expertise to deploy SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition in line with best practices.

SAP, working with Bosch Global Software Technologies, implemented RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition and SAP Enterprise Support, including data migration, remote deployment, and ongoing expert guidance. The result was a fully remote ERP rollout with continuous quality checks, go-live support, and faster provisioning that enabled an early start to implementation and helped Bosch reach project milestones despite technical and organizational challenges.
