Revolutionizing warehouse efficiency automating work order merging with SAP Build Process Automation

Schneider Electric, a global energy management and automation company, needed to reduce manual effort and delays in warehouse operations caused by scanning Kanban IDs that created separate warehouse orders and tasks. Using SAP Build Process Automation on SAP BTP, the company faced the challenge of efficiently merging multiple work orders to avoid redundant picking, higher labor costs, and slower turnaround times.

SAP implemented an unattended bot that runs every 15 minutes to automatically merge warehouse work orders from Kanban IDs. The solution streamlined order processing, improved accuracy and scalability, and saved about 150 hours per month, cut order processing time by 5x per day, and made processing 25% faster.
