A SAP Case Study
RES Corporation, one of Eswatini’s leading agribusinesses, wanted to raise sugar production, improve efficiency, expand markets, and support long-term economic and community development through its “Simama 25/25” strategy. To modernize operations and replace legacy ERP systems, the company turned to SAP and its cloud portfolio, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP BTP, and SAP Build Apps, with support from SAP Services and Support.
SAP helped RES Corporation enable nontechnical users to build enterprise-grade apps without coding, using low-code/no-code workshops and guided support. This led to smart fuel tracking and unified trading apps for local farmers, stronger team confidence, and lower IT dependency. The results included 8x faster application development and a 14% reduction in total application costs.
