A SAP Case Study
Brose, one of the world’s largest family-owned automotive suppliers, needed to reduce sustainability and human-rights risks across its supply chain while managing fragmented data, manual compliance processes, and growing regulatory pressure. Working with SAP and using SAP Business Technology Platform, Brose sought a user-friendly, integrated solution that could support risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and reporting across its purchasing organization.
SAP implemented prosustain on SAP BTP to aggregate audit results, self-assessments, and continuous monitoring into a single supplier risk assessment with traffic-light prioritization, drill-down views, and automated activity management. The result was a unified platform that continuously monitors about 4,000 suppliers, covering more than 98% of annual purchasing volume, while cutting administrative effort by 75% and improving transparency, collaboration, and proactive risk management.
