A SAP Case Study
Ravensburger, the family-owned global toy company, needed to support expansion into Austria and Poland while avoiding currency-related reporting inconsistencies in its long-running SAP ERP environment. With existing records lacking group-currency data, the company turned to SAP’s Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team to help introduce a group currency and enable consistent reporting across branches.
SAP’s DMLT team enabled all-currencies handling, updated the controlling area to group currency, and populated historical financial records with group-currency entries. The project was completed on time and on budget, creating unified financial data and streamlined internal and external reporting in euros, while minimizing disruption to Ravensburger’s daily operations.
