A SAP Case Study
PwC Switzerland, a consulting services firm, needed a faster way to model complex end-to-end business processes while reducing the burden on subject matter experts. Traditional process modeling was too manual, slow, and iterative, making it difficult to engage key personnel efficiently. PwC used SAP’s ecosystem, including SAP Signavio and SAP BTP, as part of its BPMN AI initiative to address these challenges.
SAP implemented a generative AI-powered process modeling approach that converts interviews, documents, and other inputs into BPMN 2.0 models and workflow automations. The solution enabled same-meeting discussion, creation, and sign-off of process models, reconstructed five processes in five days, and reduced SME meeting effort by 50%. SAP’s technology also helped scope more than 400,000 in savings across three clients and supported same-day workflow automation.
