Salzburg AG, the Austrian utilities company, needed to move quickly from SAP ERP Central Component to the cloud to improve manufacturing, order and contract management, service operations, and regulatory compliance while laying the foundation for future growth and AI. To do this, Salzburg AG worked with SAP through RISE with SAP, using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition along with SAP Enterprise Support and cloud application services.

SAP helped Salzburg AG complete the cloud transition in just five months, migrating more than 550 users smoothly and ahead of schedule. The new setup simplified development, strengthened a clean core strategy, reduced operational risk and effort, and created a solid base for process automation and future solutions such as SAP Cloud for Energy.
