A SAP Case Study
Pixelle, North America’s largest specialty paper manufacturer, was struggling with a legacy ERP environment made up of multiple aging systems and redundant processes that made inventory, order management, shipping, and other core functions difficult to run efficiently. The company needed a more automated, integrated approach, and turned to SAP S/4HANA to modernize operations.
SAP implemented an out-of-the-box, standardized end-to-end solution that consolidated systems, cleaned and harmonized data, and improved visibility across plant maintenance and manufacturing. As a result, Pixelle eliminated 12 third-party applications and saved $340,000 by switching to the new manufacturing system, while also reducing support effort, streamlining operations, and improving profitability.
