SAP implemented SAP Fieldglass Vendor Management System, including contingent workforce management and services procurement, to manage the external workforce lifecycle from requisition through payment. The result was improved visibility, faster staffing decisions, and cost savings, with Philips managing €500 million in contingent worker spend annually and 97% of its contingent workforce across 25 countries through SAP.
