A SAP Case Study
Partsimony, a New York-based supply chain startup, helps OEMs turn product designs into manufacturable products with less time, cost, and frustration. Its challenge was helping customers manage volatile commodity prices, supply chain risk, sustainability requirements, and limited visibility while improving manufacturability and component sourcing. To address this, Partsimony used SAP integration and SAP Business Technology Platform capabilities to connect engineering and supply chain data.
SAP implemented a unified, AI-enhanced workflow through the Partsimony app, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, and integration with SAP systems to recommend better designs and suppliers. The solution is live with 12 OEMs and has supported more than 500 design-to-manufacture transactions, helping customers achieve up to 81% component cost reduction and save months in lead time.
