Öffentliche Versicherung Braunschweig (ÖVB), a German insurer, wanted to modernize its core business processes and customer experience by reducing custom code and improving digital workflows, including communications with the German Insurance Association. SAP helped ÖVB implement a standardized, industry-specific digital foundation with expert guidance, quality checks, and readiness support. As a result, ÖVB gained real-time insights and faster reporting, simplified its system landscape, reduced IT complexity, and cut the time needed for daily and quarterly core-system updates by 50%, while also achieving a fast go-live with SAP.
