A SAP Case Study
Hydro-Québec, a major renewable energy utility with 20,000 employees, faced a challenge in managing its extensive training program. Its decentralized learning information and complex, long-term planning processes made it difficult to get a comprehensive overview of training activities. To facilitate better planning and empower its workforce, the company turned to vendor SAP for a solution involving the SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution.
Working with implementation partner /N SPRO, SAP deployed a learning management system (LMS) extension solution built on SAP Cloud Platform. This provided trainers and schedulers with a robust tool that integrated data and offered global visibility. The solution from SAP delivered significant results, including a 25% reduction in the effort required for training planning and saving the equivalent of three full-time employees, enabling the teams to react more quickly to operational needs.
