Deloitte Africa needed to streamline supplier invoice processing, which had been handled manually by finance teams monitoring country inboxes and entering invoice details into SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The process was slow, repetitive, and error-prone, creating issues in GR/IR accounts and increasing the risk of missed supplier payments.

SAP and Deloitte implemented SAP Build Process Automation to automate invoice capture, document extraction, validation, and parking in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The live solution now processes about 120 invoices per day, delivers invoices 2–3x faster, cuts invoice processing overhead by 75%, and has helped achieve cleaner GR/IR accounts with 99% improvement in correctness while reducing human error.
