Case Study: Skybuffer AI achieves faster, multilingual SAP automation with SAP BTP

No-code generative AI and document grounding for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, on-premise and SAP BTP

Skybuffer AI, a Norway-based high-tech company and SAP Partner, faced the challenge of making enterprise AI easier to deploy, secure, and scalable while integrating smoothly with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. Using SAP BTP and SAP HANA-based capabilities, the company needed a no-code generative AI and document grounding solution that could also handle unstructured data, multilingual use cases, and complex hybrid or on-premise environments.

SAP helped enable Skybuffer AI’s no-code platform, which combines Generative AI and RAG with SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP Generative AI Hub, and SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine. The solution went live as a proof of concept in September 2024, supporting about 400–500 end users per day in B2C scenarios and hundreds of transactions daily, with the ability to connect multiple SAP and non-SAP systems through a single channel and support 48 languages.
