A SAP Case Study
Moris, a leading provider of metallurgical products in Poland, needed to modernize its operations as its business expanded into more complex distribution, warehouse, and logistics workflows. The company wanted a digital foundation to improve process automation, production planning, and customer service, and turned to SAP S/4HANA along with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and related SAP solutions.
SAP implemented a next-generation ERP foundation that unified sales, logistics, warehouse, and transportation processes across Moris’s operations. With SAP, Moris centralized information, automated repetitive tasks, and improved warehouse and loading efficiency, including handling up to 75 storage cassettes per hour and reducing warehouse loading wait times from several hours to about 30 minutes. SAP’s solutions also helped reduce repetitive activities by 90% and automatically transfer 100% of shipping and receiving data for verified vehicles and drivers.
