A SAP Case Study
MLP, a financial services provider serving private, corporate, and institutional clients, needed to reduce the cost and complexity of its large IT landscape while preparing for future growth and business-model innovation. To do this, MLP turned to SAP Services and Support as it planned a major migration of ERP, data management, process integration, and analytics applications to the cloud, including SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and SAP S/4HANA.
SAP delivered the migration through its Success Delivery Center team, providing expert support, standardized migration services, and remote project execution. As a result, MLP gained a single system for business-process transparency, improved data quality and real-time reporting, harmonized processes, and lower IT complexity and total cost of ownership; the project also achieved about 50 go-live events on time and within budget, with 90% of deliverables completed remotely by SAP.
