Using SAP S/4HANA and related cloud capabilities, the company wanted better visibility into materials, tooling, and production planning while cutting cycle times and improving efficiency.
SAP, together with Plataine solutions, helped MRAS create a single source of truth across inventory, batches, shelf life, and production data, enabling real-time scheduling and material decisions. The result was an 80% reduction in CFRP material waste, a 96% first-time-right yield for composite nacelle structures, a 5% increase in operational efficiency, and a drop in kitting and layup cycle times from four hours to 12 minutes.
