Martur Fompak International, a leading automotive seats and interiors supplier, wanted to help OEM customers see the carbon footprint impact of seating-fabric choices in real time while strengthening its own sustainability efforts. To do this, it worked with SAP using SAP Sustainability Footprint Management, SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP Build Apps to create a more transparent and competitive buying experience.

SAP helped Martur Fompak International build an AI-assisted mobile app that recommends more sustainable fabric alternatives based on a reference photo and calculates carbon footprints across 3,000 seating-fabric options. The result was 34% fewer carbon emissions, 10x faster development, and 50x faster calculation compared with manual processes, improving data accuracy and enabling quicker responses to plant emissions changes.
