A SAP Case Study
The Lithuanian Red Cross Society needed a faster, more reliable way to coordinate humanitarian aid as refugee numbers surged and manual data handling caused delays, duplication, and errors. SAP, with solutions from SAP and Qualtrics, helped the organization digitize support processes so it could better match refugee needs with aid from volunteers and partner NGOs.
SAP implemented digital questionnaires, task management, workflows, and dashboarding in a single system, giving the Lithuanian Red Cross a shared real-time source of truth. The result was improved data accuracy, confidentiality, and coordination, with support requests and aid supply better tracked across branches and partners; the transformation also drove a 485% increase in volunteers and supported more than 1,500% more refugees.
