KDO Cloud Workspace, through Kommunale Datenverarbeitung Oldenburg (KDO), needed to modernize and automate increasingly complex municipal administrative processes in Germany as legacy ERP systems, outdated interfaces, and growing data volumes made work harder to manage. To support its digital transformation and new working models, KDO Cloud Workspace chose SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori to provide a more intuitive, flexible platform for public-sector operations.

SAP implemented SAP S/4HANA to consolidate transactions into user-friendly apps, personalize workflows, and improve automation, data access, and performance. The results included 50% savings in user administration on terminal servers and 100% savings in terminal server maintenance, while also improving customer satisfaction, speeding up migrations, and creating a strong foundation for KDO’s new KDO-doppik&more solution.
