A SAP Case Study
JetBlue Airways, a major airline with operations across 27 countries, struggled to get a real-time view of its cash position because treasury data was spread across 60+ bank accounts and 20 banking platforms. Manual downloads, spreadsheet consolidation, and month-end reconciliations were slow and error-prone, especially during the pandemic when cash visibility became critical. JetBlue turned to SAP Multi Bank Connectivity to centralize and streamline its treasury processes.
With SAP Multi Bank Connectivity, JetBlue connected its main banking partners into a central hub, enabling automated statement uploads, straight-through processing, and real-time cash visibility. The solution automated 85% of transactions in its main General Operating account, eliminated the need to log into individual bank portals, and improved reconciliations, approvals, and debt management. SAP helped JetBlue deliver the project mostly remotely, with no delays, and the airline now has a stronger foundation for further treasury automation.
