Isola Group, a global designer and manufacturer of high-performance base materials for printed circuit boards, wanted to digitally transform its ERP and quality management systems by moving them to the cloud. The company needed to replace a manual, spreadsheet-based internal quality control process with a standardized solution that could also support future customer and vendor issue management. SAP Quality Issue Resolution and SAP Business Technology Platform were selected to help address this challenge.

SAP implemented a cloud-based quality management solution integrated with SAP ERP, automating quality notifications and enabling real-time problem-solving using the Eight Disciplines of Problem-Solving (8D) methodology. As a result, Isola achieved 100% transformation of manual quality issue tracking into automated processes, improved control over internal quality issues, better global collaboration, and an expected 25% increase in problem-solving performance.
