The Leading German Insurer Company, a leading German insurer operating primarily in Europe, needed help complying with data privacy rules and industry codes of conduct. SAP’s Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) Group implemented information lifecycle management procedures over a 2.5-year project to support GDPR and German insurance-specific data protection rules. The solution achieved compliance with voluntary German insurance industry standards, broader EU GDPR requirements, and all necessary data protection procedures for insurance companies in Germany.
