Hubo: Succeeding with Omnichannel in DIY Using SAP for Retail and SAP Hybris Solutions

Hubo, a Belgian do-it-yourself (DIY) retailer, faced the challenge of transforming from a single brick-and-mortar channel to an omnichannel organization. Their goal was to create a central customer experience with a web strategy that supported their retail stores. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor SAP, utilizing the SAP® Hybris® Commerce and SAP Hybris Product Content Management solutions as the strategic foundation for their transition.

With the help of implementation partner Elision, SAP's solutions integrated real-time stock levels across 140 stores and enabled new functionality like click-and-collect. This resulted in a faster time to market, a 400% increase in annual online turnover, and 61,000 orders filled in 2016. The site now receives a million visits per month, and SAP provided the platform for Hubo to significantly enhance its digital customer experience.
