The Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) represents more than 540,000 Austrian entrepreneurs and needed to modernize its operations with better digital processes, faster transactions, and stronger analytics. To support this transformation, WKO turned to SAP, using SAP S/4HANA along with SAP BW/4HANA and SAP MaxAttention to upgrade its technology environment.
SAP implemented a brownfield conversion approach and provided migration and go-live support to help WKO move its historical data safely and keep downtime low. The result was a successful migration to SAP S/4HANA on time and within budget, with improved finance and controlling integration through the universal journal and real-time balance sheets enabled by document splitting.
