To simulate and train for different draft scenarios, Team Liquid turned to SAP, using SAP Business AI along with SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP HANA Cloud to analyze opponents and improve decision-making.
SAP built an AI-based draft bot trainer that could process massive amounts of data and run real-time simulations and what-if analyses. As a result, Team Liquid increased draft-preparation productivity by 80%, reduced workload, and gained stronger draft recommendations to help choose champions better matched to opponents and improve its chances of winning.
