Stars Microelectronics, a high-tech electronics manufacturing company in Thailand, wanted to expand but was hindered by manual legacy processes that slowed decision-making and produced incomplete or inaccurate data. To support more adaptive operations and better supply chain collaboration, the company turned to SAP and SAP S/4HANA as a long-term digital foundation.

SAP, working with partner NTT DATA Business Solutions, implemented SAP S/4HANA to provide real-time visibility, automated transactions, and a single source of truth across the business. The results included more than 90% time savings in monitoring material price changes, 80% accuracy in tracking inventory costs, and over 3% material spend savings, with loss recovery from material price changes of B10 million to B20 million.
