Semmelweis University, a leading higher education and research institution in Hungary, needed to bring payroll management back in-house after outsourcing it and wanted to reuse the same software it had used before. Working with SAP, the university looked to modernize payroll while keeping employee master data management in SAP ERP HCM and improving integration with finance.
SAP implemented SAP Payroll Processing, integrated with SAP ERP Financials, and used SAP Services and Support plus SAP Activate to speed deployment and reduce risk. The result was automated, faster payroll processing that enabled timely and efficient staff payments, eliminated 100% of manual payroll calculations, and provided 100% integration with SAP ERP Financials.
