Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, a global pediatric nutrition manufacturer, needed to modernize procurement after struggling with fragmented legacy systems, manual governance, limited supplier collaboration, and poor real-time visibility. The company turned to SAP and SAP Ariba to address inefficiencies across sourcing, contracts, buying, and supplier management.

SAP implemented SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network, decommissioning older tools and consolidating procurement into a more integrated, automated platform. The result was over 4,000 users onboarded, 76,000 contracts and 250 GB of attachments migrated, and more than 15,000 suppliers connected, with 100% automation of manual tasks and faster, better-informed decision-making.
