SK E&S, Korea’s leading private gas and power company, needed to modernize its ERP system and move to a stable cloud environment to handle growing data volumes as it expanded into low-carbon LNG, renewables, hydrogen, and energy solutions. To support this digital transformation, SK E&S worked with SAP and adopted SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, utilities.

SAP implemented the new ERP platform with utilities-focused capabilities, SAP Fiori apps, and expert migration support to ensure a smooth transition from SAP ERP Central Component. The result was 95% faster throughput and a 3x improvement in overall system response time, while also reducing licensing and infrastructure maintenance costs and minimizing business disruption during the rollout to 1,500 users across 50 sites.
